First Impressions: Carol's Daughter

So remember I told you guys about the Carol’s Daughter products I acquired over Christmas from my wonderful parents? Well, I finally used them, which consisted of the Tui Leave-In Conditioner, Sugar-dipped Vanilla All Over Sheen, Tui Herbal Shampoo, and the Ecstasy Shea Souffle. The Ecstasy Shea Souffle is just a hand and body moisturizer…..I really like the thick consistency of this product. Wasn’t a really big fan of the Tui Herbal Shampoo…left my hair feeling a bit striped and tangled, but I will say that the leave-in and all over sheen are AMAZING!!! I love them both.

Let’s start with the leave-in.

Tui Leave-In Conditioner: Pros – Smells great, feels great, claims to refresh hair, I guess meaning twistouts and braidouts. I have only refreshed my twists with this product and like it so far; Cons - Ummmm, expensive. I went to the Carol’s Daughter website and this runs around $12…..I would have never bought this at that price, not now anyway. The only thing I’m willing to pay over $12 for are butters, whipped creams, soufflés, smoothies……..stuff like that for twisting and twistouts.

Sugar-dipped Vanilla All Over Sheen: Pros – Gives shine without making my hair greasy and weighed down, extremely light; Cons – None…so far.
