I have been natural for almost 8 months......October 13 will make 8 months....and thought it would be fun to list some things I have discovered about my hair since going natural.
1. Those shedded hairs will not come out on their own...they must be combed out [for me, at least once a week]

2. Natural Hair = Versatility
3. God made no mistake when he created black women with this kind of hair....so who am I to change it
4. I don't have to run from the rain
5. Less is more....that includes washing, product, and manipulation. The less I do any of these the better my hair turns out
6. My hair hates mineral oil
7. My hair shrinks up into 90% of its total length, and fighting this really isn't worth it......it comes with the package
8. I don't have to waste time and money at the salon....especially for a one day hairstyle
9. My hair feels like cotton when taken care of and moisturized the correct way
10. WOW!!! kinky, coily, coarse hair is FUN
11. You don't have to spend a ton of money on hair products to get high quality
12. My satin cap is my best friend :)
13. I don't need to wait for a salon appointment to get my hair done....FINALLY
14. Natural hair grows quick....really quick
15. I don't need a ton of gel to control my hair
