Every so often you come across an idea that begs the question 'Why didn't I think of that?'. It's the most obvious conclusion that takes the longest to figure out. Such was my reaction when I saw this new belt by Raf Simons (available on Forward). Instead of the usual loop this belt had none. But how does it stay closed, you wonder. Easy enough: Velcro!
This slim belt retails for $139 and the modern design is perfect for modern style trousers that could do without the loop. It is actually a popular choice for small kids who would normally battle under the pressures of buckle maneuvering during potty training.
But while an international hotshot came up with this idea only now, my friend Cindy Poole over at The Summit came up with her own magnetized version ages ago.
What say you? Magnet, velcro or traditional loop belts? Leave us a comment!
